TextPad discards alternate data streams when editing file

The bug happens when editing files with named alternate data streams. Editing the ADS works fine but when editing the regular file all ADS are removed from the file. I’ve made sure “Overwrite original files directly, when saving changes� is enabled.
It doesn’t matter if the file is on a network location or local hard drive, the bug is the same.
This is relatively new behavior (possibly new to 8.x or even new to 8.1.2). TextPad *used* to work just fine for editing files without destroying ADS data.
