Textpad always opens in reduced mode

Hi!
I've been using Textpad for a long time now and never had this problem before.
When I open textpad in any ways (directly, by associated file or with workspace), it opens in a reduced mode. By reduced, I don't mean minimized, I mean only a small floating bar with the 3 buttons that we found in the top right.
I don't know how to make it open files "normally".
Thanks!

Try sizing the window.

Still sounds minimized, just as windows are when off-screen. Have you ever tried to actually click the "minimize" button?

It's not minimized. I just have a small rectangle with 3 buttons, like resize but with no size, just the standard top right buttons. Of course I can resize it, maximize it and work normaly but if I close it then start it again....same thing, just a small rectangle with 3 buttons appears. (minimize, maximize/resize, close)
The same thing happens when I move the window, while moving it, the window transforms to that small rectangle and it's annoying.
It's for Textpad 7.6. I have version 6 at work and never had this problem before...maybe it's a feature of v 7...??

You did not understand:
when windows are minimized, they're moved off the visible screen and painted like that.

I hope you're not serious about this question - more likely your system has changed: did Windows recently update? Have you installed/uninstalled a software? Anything that happened shortly before you noticed this behaviour for the first time.
