I have several Macros that running fine when executed individually.

But now I have to add an extra task to enhance those Macros.

So I need to record again. But when I start recording and press the 1st Macro, it does nothing but showing me Command Cancelled on the status bar.

How do I resolve this?

Which is why it would be better if macros are actually editable (i.e. having human readible text like instructions) - they could still be "compiled" in the background in their now binary format.

You can't resolve it, unfortunately. You will need to record the macro again. You could try suggesting to Helios that they add editable macros to TextPad. (It's been a frequently-requested feature for the past 17 years, so good luck with that.)
