Windows 10, TP and smooth scroll

Hi all,

there is a strange interaction between TP 8.01 and Mozilla Firefox (and also Thunderbird) on windows 10 Desktop PC.

Run TP and Firefox side by side, open long pages. Place mouse upon Firefox without clicking. Use scoll mouse to scroll down, change mouse position to TP without clicking. TP scrolls more than the (multiple) 3 lines (or whatever you have set) and stops with some delay. If you click on TP you can stop the smooth scrolling and you get the 3-lines scroll again.

This behavior is expected.

But it can happen, if you repeat this procedure several times, the smooth scroll does NOT stop when you click in TP and it is impossible to scroll exactly to the line of your interest.

Smooth scroll DOES stop when you go back to Mozilla and click there. Now, when you ar again in TP you have the 3-lines scroll again.

This behavior is not dependend on the Mozilla setting of "smooth scroll" (or what it is called in english, because here it is named "Sanften Bildlauf aktivieren").

I did not discover this interaction between Mozilla and Notepad++ and either between TP and Chrome.

It seems to be a bug.
