CURSOR LINE HIGHLIGHTING

I'm using Textpad 8.0. My eyesight is not what it used to be. I've tried locating a process which will enable me to color highlight the background of the line the cursor is on. As well I'd like to be able to do the same for all marked lines in a search. So far I haven't been able to determine how to do this.
Does anyone have any suggestions ? thanks

1. Configure menu > Preferences
2. Document Classes > Default > Colours - go down the 7th item in the select list which is "current line" - change the background colour to something bright.
Unfortunately you need to do that for each document class

No, you can go back up to the
Default item and select
Apply these settings to all document classes.

But doesn't that overwrite ALL your settings for all the other classes?
