A couple of times a day or so for a long time I've been frustrated when the Find or Replace functions don't work. I'll use Ctrl+f and nothing happens. Trying Search > Find also then fails. Sometimes the Replace function will then fail too. Sometimes it's the opposite. Sometimes one works and the other doesn't. Sometimes both fail.

The only solution I've found is to close and restart TextPad ... until it happens again.

Anyone else see similar behaviour, or know of a cause or fix please?

I'm using 7.5.1 (32 bit) on an XP Pro PC.

I'm having the same problem. Hit Cntl+f and the find/replace window does not appear. The find window works as it should. I do have 32 textpad windows open at this time. I closed most of them and the problem is still there. Fixed if I close the window and reopen it.
