When I select a column of data with block select and click the F9(Sort) no Sort Selected Column window comes up. Works fine in 7.6.

Thanks for reporting this behaviour.

We will fix it in the next release, but in the mean time it can be worked around by selecting in line mode and manually specifying the sort columns.
