My files are all in workspace Main.tws.

Yesterday I opened TP and there were no files in the Doc Selector so I reloaded them manually via win Explorer but didn't do anything about the Workspace as I didn't know about it.

I made some changes to a file.

Today I found out about Workspaces and reloaded Main.tws and found out my recent changes to the file were lost and replaced by the line: \\//``~~~BackuP

Can I access the changes? There's no recent file in that folder where they could be.

Version 7.4.0 64 bit under Windows 10

There's another file in the a different folder that's been updated twice a day over the same period which DIDN'T lose its changes!
I would really like to see what I lost in the first file as it's my development log and I'm finally getting into Android after a long time-out.

I can't see how to update my orig post w/o Posting a Reply but then I have to cut-and-paste the title too! What gives? I mean how can it have a title of Post a Reply if there's no subject? And I have to select a forum? Don't computers have memories?

What are your Backup settings?

there are no Backup settings.

If there's no backup settings in TP, then TP didn't back up your changes. Do you have some other backup method in place?
