Tranferring *.tpm and custom.bnd to v. 7; read Help

Greetings,
Despite seeming to follow the instructions in the help, I am not have any luck transferring from preferences into v7.
Details:
On my machine at work, I'm running v5.4x of Textpad. (32 bit) I copied *.tpm and custom.bnd files from that installation, which is running under Windows 7.
On my machine at home, also running Windows 7, I installed Textpad 7 (64 bit). . I pasted those *.tpm and custom.bnd files into
C:\Users\ etc. \AppData\Roaming\Helios\TextPad\7\
I have done this and undone this several times, rebooted, etc., but I cannot get my keyboard assignments and macros to be recognized by the Textpad 7 installation.
I must be missing something; any suggestions?
