Once upon a time when I used the File->Open dialog, it would always display All Files (*.*) in the file open file type drop down. Now it ALWAYS displays Clip Library (*.tcl) and I can't change it back. It's been like this at least the last few major versions of TextPad.

Please help as this has been driving me to distration for some time now.

Preferences -> file name filters.

Move the filter with the extension you want to appear by default to the top.
