Losing all settings on upgrade?

TextPad 5 stored everything in the registry, and TextPad 6.22 is ignoring those keys completely when I install it.
How can I get it to carry over by settings properly?

I experienced the same issue. After some playing around it seems that registry settings have been moved to xml files. These are found at C:\Documents and Settings\username\Application Data\Helios\TextPad\6\ConfigState.xml and GUIState.xml.
Also these files do NOT get updated until you exit TexPad. This means it is very easy to lose any config changes if Textpad would crash or lock up.
Not the best design IMHO.

Yah, I found those files, but that doesn't help me import my old settings from 5.x
