Can't open files using drag-n-drop running TextPad as admin

I think I have found a bug in TextPad 6.2.2. When I launch TextPad as administrator under Windows 7 (Ultimate 32 bit) I can't open files by dragging them onto the TextPad chrome. The major part of the application windows indicates that it's not even a drop target by using that "crossed circle" mouse cursor when I drag a file from Windows Explorer onto it. The application title bar looks like a drop target and accepts that you drop a file onto it but nothing happens when you do so.
