EditCutBlock, EditCopyBlock, EditDelBlock, EditComment & EditUnComment keyboard commands are essential. Please add them to Textpad.
I feel similat to EditPasteBlock command, 3 more commands need to be added to Textpad.
EditCutBlock:
Best way to cut a block of text when you are working in BlockSelectOff mode is:-
1. Select the block of text as regular selection
2. BlockSelectOn
3. Cut
4. BlockSelectOff
I created one macro for steps 2-4 and assigned a keyboard shortkey. So cut in block mode is very easy for me with this macro and I feel this command should be added to Textpad Keyboard Commands and should be named as EditCutBlock.
EditCopyBlock:
Similar to above, change step 3 to Copy.
EditDelBlock:
Similar to above, change step 3 to Delete.
EditComment & EditUnComment:
With a single keyboard comment it should be possible to change the selected lines to comment lines or to back to normal lines.
Still I'm able to manage this with macro. I saved a macro like below for EditComment:
1. Press Home twice
2. add the comment line prefix
3. Save the macro with the option "Repeat through selection"
With this macro I was able to change the line to comment line very easily. But the problem with this method is step 2 will be different for different syntaxes. So I need to have different macros for different syntaxes. since Textpad already knows, Comment Line Prefix for each syntax it will be good if this functions added as Keyaboard Commands.
