Is it possible to configure TextPad (v6.1.3) to access an external help file in the form of a compiled html CMH (in Win 7)?
Stumbling around in the dark, I began to consider:
Open TextPad
Close any open document if open in TextPad .. then:
Configure, Preferences, Tools, Add, Online Help File..., specific_file.CHM
Apply, Okay and quit TextPad.
Then open TextPad again, Tools, External Tools and there it is
This seems to work quite well, but I still wondered: Is this the correct method or is there some other / proper means of integrating an external help file into TextPad?
