Maybe I'm just getting old, but on my Dell laptop when I use CTRL-F to find a string, the highlight is so faint that I have to strain to see it.

I have searched preferences in vain for an option to change the color of the search results. Can someone tell me if it's possible? Maybe there's a plugin that will do it?

You can change the colour as follows:

1. Click Configure > Preferences.
2. Click the plus sign next to Document Classes.
3. Click the plus sign next to Default.
4. Click Colors.
5. In Item, click Selected text.
6. Set the Foreground and Background colours as desired.
7. Click Default.
8. Select Apply these settings to all document classes.
9. Click OK.

Thank you so much! I found that Selected text (no focus) was the one I wanted. And I didn't see the option at the end to set it for all classes. I have 5.4 if that matters.
