Extracting a portion of text into new document

Is it possible to extract a portion of text or line from a text file and save it to a new document.
for example i have 100 text files and i need to extract line 13 from each of them and save all these extracted lines to one new document. So my final result will be a new txt document containing 100 lines. Is this possible?
