Can I force Textpad to startup in a specific folder?
I've tried Configure > Preferences > General > 'Reload last workpspace at setup', but it still opens in the same Windows system folder.

Click Configure > Preferences > Folders and then change the value for Startup.

Thanks for the suggestion.
This doesn't open the folder I entered. What it does do is save any new text document that I create into that folder.
What I am looking for is for my designated folder to be automatically opened in the explorer directory in the left hand column, as I want to access various files in that folder.
Currently it defaults to the desktop folder.

Right-click the shortcut that you're using to launch TextPad (e.g. on the Start menu, desktop or Quick Launch toolbar) and click Properties. Enter your designated folder in the Start in field.
