How do I copy my macro .TPM files from my old computer to the new one? The new Textpad remains unaware of them after a Windows copy operation.

There are a couple of steps involved.

First, check that you've copied them to the correct folder. On the new computer, click Configure > Preferences and then click Folders. The location listed next to the file type Macros is the folder you need to copy the macros to.

Secondly, click Configure > Preferences and then click Macros. Your macros should be listed under Macros available. Select the macros and then click Add.

You can then invoke the macros from the Macros menu and/or assign keyboard shortcuts to them.

I had overlooked the built-in Help about activating each desired macro.
