I am trying to set my current line to Green background and Yellow foreground.

It shows correctly in the Item box but the "Current Line" show green background and black foreground and when applied that is what it does.

How do I get the foreground (text) to use the text in the Foreground dropdown?

This only seems to happen if you are using a Text Document Class.

I am using version 4.7.3

You can't (as far as I know), despite what the Item box is showing. The colours for Current line work differently from the other items. Click the Help button and read the second bullet point for details.

As far as I can tell the foreground colour only change the 'borders' of the line highlighting so it has no effect on the text colour.
