Textpad 5 uses courrier font by default instead of courrier new font.
Courrier font gives problems when changing the background to black.
When the cursor is placed over text, and the current line is highlighted, and these little underscores/dashes appear some letters fall off like for example:
The y will look like a v.
This can be prevented by using the courrier new font size 10 which almost looks the same as courrier size 10 but it doesn't have these problems.
So apperently courrier new is better, it probably does this by adding some
more vertical space, just slightly !
