Migrating key bindings to Windows 7

Textpad 5.4.2 is not implementing the key bindings that I had copied over from my Win XP machine to a new Win 7 machine.
I installed Textpad, fed in my license code, and it runs fine otherwise.
However, today I copied my old custom.bnd files to
\users\"name"\appdata\roaming\helios\textpad\5.0
on the Win 7 machine
which is the directory listed under Configure/Preferences/Folders as the
proper location. I closed down Textpad and even rebooted, but many/most of my custom keystroke combinations are not recognized.
Any suggestions of what I might try?
