need help Textpad keeps running my old code.

I programmed a application which I got to work.
Then I wanted to make changes to the code, trying to use different ways to make it work.
But it always runs the old code, it picks up compile issues but as soon as I run it. It runs my previous code.

It doesn't matter if I delete most of the code, change the file name as long as it compiles it will make the error.

The strange thing is if I bring in old applications that I've written it runs them perfectly.

I've tried uninstalling reinstalling. I think the glitch gets saved in the temp folders. Because after I've reinstalled it still has the last four documents I used, then when I open this specific file it keeps making the same mistake.

I've tried searching for where text pad keeps its temp files but I can't find them.

So if anyone knows how to fix this problem please help!
