I use a handy program called PhraseExpress which allows you to type a short phrase and it will substitute another phrase. For instance FBI could be converted to Federal Bureau of Investigation. PhraseExpress works with every program I have tested except Textpad 4.7.3. It does work with Textpad 5.4.2 but anyone know why it would not work with 4.7.3 (the version I prefer to use)? Version 4.7.3 also worked on my old XP machine but is not on my Win 7 64-bit.

I have the opposite experience. I want to use PhraseExpress in Textpad 5.4.2 and cannot get it to work. It works flawlessly just about everywhere else, but not in TP 5.4.2.

Any thoughts on why it might be flaking out in TP?
