I get the 1158 error with no other message when trying to install Textpad 5.4.2. Installshield web site says that this may be a problem in reading strings in the setup.ini file. I did update the Windows Installer as suggested elsewhere in this forum but with no luck. Anyone else encounter this error and then was able to resolve it.
