Can TextPad do this... or how would I modify it... so it could?

Select 2 characters like "a4" and it converts that HEX into DECIMAL (164).... replacing the a4 characters.

Thanks.

Please see the Clip book called "Hex to Decimal Character Map", on the Add-ons web page below:

http://www.textpad.com/add-ons/cliplibs.html

I hope this helps.

"Support" didn't even know about this?

"Support" told me they didn't know about any such feature.

Not sure why.

It's right on their own web page.

I'll give it a try.

Writing your own add-ons?

#1. Is that just "a list of hex/dec codes"?

or...

#2 Highlight the 2 letter hex code in your document... hit a key stroke... and it instantly changes from hex to dec?

I need #2, not #1.

Does anyone know how I can write my own add-ons?
