creating new document class should auto-apply to open files

I've used Textpad for 10+ years, through many versions. Luv it!
However, there are few things that frustrate me to no end. Among them, is the creation of a new/editing an existing document type is not reflected in the currently open files and File|Revert does not apply the changes either.
Creating a new document class is not a common activity, but when its done, its usually with files fitting the parameters of the class already open. If you only have to close & reopen a file or two, the "pain" is not much. When you have a large number of files open and being edited, the "pain" is alot. Often times I find creating the new class not worth the effort and then forget to do it when closing the matching files.
At the end of the "create new document class" wizard should be an option to apply to currently open files. I would like it automatically applied, but problems might occur if the class's match string has conflicts.
Or update the File|Revert command to check for document class changes, which would catch changes to the document class thru the options dialog.
