Wrapped viewports or continuous mode

Hi,
I have a suggestion that has been floating in my mind for years now that I think should be good for TextPad to have.
With the advent of the wide screens, the horizontal space has grown faster than the vertical space. 1920x1080 are now standard. Add to this that some are lucky enough to work with two of these resolution beasts and you wonder why text editors don't make a better use of that horizontal space. All the more since 80-column is still in use as the standard width for source code hard line breaks.
My suggestion is to have a "continuous" mode where the left side viewport "continues" in the right side one. That way, quite similar to line wrapping, the content being displayed in the first viewport would "wrap" into the second viewport so that when scrolling down towards the bottom of the text, both viewports scroll but what was previously the first line in the right side viewport becomes the last line of the left side viewpwort and vice-versa.
That way, we would get to see twice the amount of text we can currently see. Two viewports over the text, with one offset so as to start where the other finishes, as if both were stacked upon a virtual long sheet of paper that contains the text. That would be nice.
