I am trying to add Scala compiler and run to my external tools (any direct help on that will be appreciated as well). I have added the command, and it appears to be present in the tools tree. When I do tools > External tools, the command is present but the menu saying scalac is grayed out. The shortcut key also does not work.

How do I enable these commands after adding them? Thanks!

Using View > Toolbars > Tools brought up the little list of hammers, and the defined one is now shown. In addition, it now shows up on the Tools > External Tools menu, and the control key works.
