Save search results in a search results format

Suppose you do a "Search all files" and get a list of search results
(file/line numbers or file/number of matches)

When you double click on each search result line, Textpad
automatically opens that match (and queues the cursor to
that line)

I'd like to save search results in a "search results format" so
that later on I can open that search results file and double click on
any line to bring up that file/line result again.

The search results format file would have the embedded "file/line number" links underneath so that Textpad would treat the search
results file as a "special" file.

Create a user tool:
Configure | Preferences | Tools | Add | DOS Command... |
DOS Command

type $File

Save the Search Results document into any file. While that file is active, run the tool.
