Hi,

First post: is it possible to have TextPad select the entire number when I double-click it rather than just the part to the left or right of the decimal?

Yes, you can can do this by telling TextPad to treat the decimal point as part of a word. To do this for the current document:

1. On the View menu, click Document Properties.
2. Click Syntax.
3. In Other characters in words, enter the character you use as a decimal point.

To do this for all documents, or all documents of a certain type, change the settings under Configure -> Preferences -> Document Classes. For more information, look in the Help file under How To -> Use Document Classes.
