Hello -

I'm looking for a way to navigate internally within a project to:

function names
variable names
definitions

in a C type project, using TextPad. Is this possible? I've searched the forums and found some requests, but no clear features that support this. Perhaps I am just searching for the wrong keywords.

FindTag written by Frank Fesevur does what you are looking for.
I've been using it for years. Currently with TP 5.3.1

You can jump directly to definitions of functions, variables, macros etc.
