TextPad not adding package name to class name

I just upgraded to TextPad 5 (from 4). I can compile fine, but get NoClassDefFound when trying to launch classes if the class is in a named package. TextPad is not prepending the package name - it just give java.exe the class name.
I can't find any option for this. I've re-installed a couple times. Please help.
