I love this TextPad. My productivity has shot way up since I started using it. Now, For some reason, using the delete duplicate's is not working for me. I know I used it before and it was working at one time , but now it just sorts the file without removing the duplicates. Any idea's on what I could be doing wrong? Any advice is appreciated.

are the duplicate lines really identical?
Or does one maybe have tabs where the other has spaces; or is there some other difference in whitespace?

Good points.. The lines are not identical, but the sorted fields are and I presumed that the duplicates would be found based on the sorted key valuess... which I see now is not the case.. For the delete to work the lines actually need to be identical.. duhhh...

how should textpad decide which of the non-identical lines is to be deleted and which to be kept?
