Switching Text alignment in spreadsheets

Post by FrankM »

Is it possible to use WildEdit to search multiple files each embedded with identical Excel spreadsheets and switch identical blocks of cells from left aligned to right aligned text?

If so, how please?

Excel stores its data in a proprietary format, which changed with Excel 2007. Can you not make these changes with Excel itself, perhaps with the help (or, rather, the hindrance) of a VBA script? If not, and if you precisely describe the format of your data, it may be possible to find a way to do this with WildEdit.

In essence I have 115 sets of each of ten form templates. Because of the graphic content all these files were designed in another publishing program. I hope to edit one spreadsheet in the form then use WildEdit to mass update all its child files.

You will have to provide a precise description of the format of your data in these files.
