Auto-Reload not working as supposed

Auto-Reload used to work great until I upgraded to V5.3.1. It use to reload the file automatically even when I was using other programs. Now I need to make Textpad loose focus by touching another program and then change focus to the Textpad window again in order to make the file auto-reload. Is anyone experiencing this?
