I am running Windows 7 home, and text pad 5. All was working fine. Then last night came. I compiled a file that is in a folder on my desktop complied fine when I ran the program the console pop-ed up and then disappeared. If I put the same file on the desktop and run it it works fine! if I put the same file in any other folder it wont run and I get a access denied error on complie. this is the same set up i had been running just fine, now all the sudden I can't run Java programs out of a folder? any ideas on why or what is doing this to me? Thanks for the help! it also is creating batch files in the files folder, if I open them my program runs. fine. I know that my question is getting long but I would like to point out if I run the files off of a thumb drive they work fine.
