Can't select Automatically Save or Backup

Can't select Automatically Save or Backup

Howdy:

I'm using 5.3.1 on Windows 7 64-bit. When I go into Configure :arrow: Preferences :arrow: Backup, I can't select either Automatically Save or Backup. The checkboxes aren't grayed out: they initially act like they can be clicked, but they never activate.

Any ideas on why this may be happening, or have I found a bug of some sort?
