I have a strange problem. I often leave a copy of TextPad open overnight (with the files I am working on duly saved, just in case). When I come back to it the next day if seems to work OK, I can move around files, cut text, etc. However, when I try to open a new file, TextPad exits with no error messages. This is completely reproducible.

OS: Windows 7 32-bit edition
TextPad: 5.3.1
