Foreground color

I have set the foreground color as white for every category in the document class (my background is black). The document I have open is in the text class (checked via the document properties in the left frame) but any unselected text still comes out as gray.

Any suggestions?

Thanks,

Marc

When making configuration changes I find it best to follow these steps, especially for any changes in Classes:

1. Close all other copies of TextPad.
2. Close all open documents, INCLUDING THE DEFAULT NEW BLANK DOCUMENT.
3. Make the changes you want: Configure/Preferences/......
4. Apply and OK your way out the configurations.
5. Close TextPad.
6. Open TextPad again, and your changes should be good.

Same problem. My document all looks exactly like the "Window Background" Item under the Colors menu, but when I have "Windows background" selected I cannot change the foreground color...

Ok, I got it fixed by doing this:

- Run textpad as administrator
- Go into each Configure->Preference->Document Classes->x->color
- Choose "Text" - set it to a different color, click apply
- Choose "Text" again, choose white, click apply

Now my text is finally white on black.

As a note, I am running Textpad 5.3.1 on Windows 7 64-bit...
