Fill block lost?!

I randomly lost Fill flock functionality about 2 months ago. I uninstalled and reinstalled Textpad with no success in fixing the error. The version was/is 4.7.3. Any assistance you can provice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

That menu option is greyed out until a selection is made in the block mode.
Is that what the issue is?
If not we need more details!

When the text is selected in block mode the fill block option is still greyed out as if there is not block text selected. Therefore not allowing fill block to work.

Use a fixed-width font and turn on block select mode.
This is made quite clear in the help.
