Minimize button disabled on each document...

After upgrading to textpad 5.3.1 the minimize button on each open document is grayed out and will not let you minimize a document. Is there any way to enable this. I some times work with several documents open and usually minimize them more space to view. This does not seem possible since I upgraded.

Is anyone going to answer this thread?

I too work work with many documents at once and it would be nice to be able to minimize some when they are immediately needed.

Thanks!

I have alerted mgt. as I am unable to duplicate this problem.

In anticipation (this is a UK company so their hours) you should give us info such as your OS.

Thank you very much for the link and explanation how to minimize document windows using a keyboard.

I wonder would it be possible to enable the button again?

Thanks.

I too have been frustrated having the minimize button disabled. Is there anyway to re-enable it? Possibly a registery setting? Shortcut key is okay but not ideal.

Thanks.

put the minimize functionality back in 5.x the way it was in 4.7!

Didn't this ever get fixed?

I recently upgraded to 6.0, but the document minimize button is now always disabled. After spending an hour trying to make it work and then reading these posts I've gone back to my old version 4.7 which works fine. Seems strange that this was never fixed, or am I missing something?

You're not missing anything. Helios never fixed it and just offered a workaround.

So two years later and many version updates, yet we still can not use the window minimize feature, and the workaround needs to be updated. :(

Other than that this software is great!!! :D
