Since upgrading to 5.3 my cursors are reversed. When in insert mode I get a block cursor that covers the letter to the right of the insert location. In overwrite mode I get a line cursor between the character to be over wreitten and the one preceding it -- precisely backwards behavior. Am I alone in this? Any way to fix it?

Deselect Configure | Preferences | View | Block cursor.
