Successful Java compilation message doesn't disappear

When a Java program compiled successfully, the message "Tool completed successfully" used to come up but disappear immediately. The tool output window only stuck around if there was an error. That's exactly how I want it. In recent versions of TextPad, the successful tool output window stays up and I have to close it manually every time. Is there a way to fix this?
