Hi tere,

I had a file opened via TextPad and via another app at the sam time. I accidently saved a empty copy via aother app and then whe TextPad asked me "File was changed. Do yu want t Reload it?" I said "Yes".

Do you know if TextPad saves a backup of the previous file or if there a way to recover last change???

While I have not closed TextPad yet but the "Undo"button is Not Active - therefore I can not use it (as well as "Ctrl+Z") ...

I just killed 2 days of my work :? :(

That depends on the settings for Backup (Configure - Preferences - Backup).

Yes, when a file is loaded, the undo history is cleared.

You could retrieve yesterday's version from your backup.

You don't have a regular daily backup? Second mistake ...
