Selecting a word with double-click
Press Ctrl-F5 or F5 or Strg-F

This does not work sometimes. The old search content remains in the "Find what" editbox.
It does not have to do with the file it-self since some switching between the opened files repairs the behavoir.

I never experienced this with version 5.2

This is a very old problem, and it can be quite irritating. I've never been able to determine the circumstances in which it occurs.
