It would be handy to put the "Find" text in the incremental find textbox.

If you put the "Find" drop down list box and the historical finds into the Incremental find input area then you can have dual use of this new feature - retaining the "F3" find next of "Find"

Yes, there should be a way for 'incremental find' entry box to remember past searches - a combo-box instead of just an entry box that gets stuffed with past searches would really HELP!!
I love this emacs like feature but find it frustrating that it does not remember past searches which I need to repeat.
