Synchronized Scrolling

First, I would like to thank you for the left-to-right tab preference added in 5.3. The prior behavior in earlier versions of 5.X was a minor annoyance to me.
In versions 5.0 to 5.3, the synchronized scrolling feature is disabled when document tabs are enabled. In 4.7.3 this was not the case. I don't know how difficult it would be to remove that restriction.
