but it gives me a 404 Not Found.
Secondly, here's an idea for a mod to your output: where you have the ID numbers, you could wrap those in anchor tags referring to the thread in question.

Read the README and configuration.txt carefully. Use at your own risk, although I'll try to answer your questions...
Basically, delete prev_dnld_topics.txt (if it exists) and all the files in downloaded_topics_pages/, and then run "java DownloadEnhancementSuggestions" *from within that directory*, at a command prompt.
Watch it go...and then view _text_for_posting.txt.
If you run it without deleting anything, it'll read form the existing files, and only download what's not yet been downloaded. Good for us poor poor dialup peoples, who get cut off in the middle of testing something out.
Note that this depends greatly on XBN Java 0.8.2b, the jar of which is available at http://xbnjava.sourceforge.net.

Thanks again for the summary jeffy.
Over time, the same items are always in the top 10. Not much changing at the top in priorities. Hope this consistency and volume has some weight with Helios.
Too bad that the exclusionary list keeps growing. I guess I will have to get back to trying to come up with an easy polling question process. Have not been able to make the time to continue on that, and was very close to a solution......maybe next year?
