Hi group,
This new thing (I believe) in 4.6 that allows you to paste HTML from IE or Mozilla is not working for me. I read through thread 4343, and didn't read that I had to enable that option. Can anyone give me any ideas why it may not work? Everything pastes as straight plain text. I have customized my file classes, but htm, html files etc., are still in the original HTML class. I did also first save the document I had open with an htm extesion so Textpad would be aware that it's an htm file.
Thank you,

Not working for me either, if I undestand it correctly as I read it...that I can copy (a selection) and paste it.

It has to be pasted into a file with .HTML extension. Any other extension, it will paste as text.

Re: Paste HTML from Mozilla/IE
Well this worked for me...sorta...it pastes the html in after converting it back from XHTML compliant code to all UPPERCASE code (including changing back
to <BR>). I really think it is important that TextPad's HTML becomes XHTML compliant...this is where we are going to have to go in the future and it doesn't hurt us in the present.

oops...no edit feature on this forum...that was "(including changing back <br /> to <BR>).

Works from HTML Email too
Undocumented feature, this copy and paste thing works (at least from Outlook) when you copy and paste from html formatted Emails to an .html file as well.

It does not work for me either.
One (slight) possibility - I did not uninstall 4.5 before installing 4.6, but I can't imagine that making any difference.
Anyone have any ideas to offer?
Andrew.

Re: Paste HTML from Mozilla/IE
I had it working before, it'd paste HTML into _any_ file. However now EditPaste is just pasting plain HTML, as is EditPasteLines.
