One of the only cool features about the J++ editor is that it parses the Java source file and provides method names in a seperate frame that I can easily move around the source code (and get an overall feel of the file) without scanning the whole file.

Is there a way to do this in Textpad?

I just saw there is a tool under addons/utilities which seems to do what you want - I did not test it as I do not program in Java (yet).
